As a self taught musician, Argentinian Alexis Cabrera started to experiment with music at a very young age. After having spent six years of conservatory studies, his music flourished. His songs were released on labels like Mindshake Records, Bla Bla Music, Raum…Musik, Little Helpers, Kumquat Records, Time has changed, Great Stuffs and many many more. In 2011 he co-produced Barem’s “After the Storm“, along with Barem himself, released on Minus [Minus 110]. The deepest meaning of ‘collage’, defined by Max Ernst, is the general application of Arthur Rimabaud’s ‘delirium’: “I accustomed myself to simple hallucination; I saw quite deliberately a mosque instead of a factory, a drummer’s school conducted by angels, carriages on the highways of the sky, a salon at the bottom of a lake: monsters, mysteries, a vaudeville poster raising horrors before my eyes”. We could describe collage as an alchemic compound of two or more heterogeneous elements, derivate by their unexpected approximation generated deliberately by the search of systematic confusion and distorted perception.
That’s Alex Unders’ musical universe. Based in Madrid, this producer is the ‘CMYK’ label manager. He is also one of the men behind ‘Apnea’ and ‘Bemysheep’, and one of the founders of Net28 (the net behind these labels and others like ‘Cyclical Tracks’ and ‘Pulpa’).
Alexi Delano dwells in the perfect balance between shiny minimalism and dark vivacious techno. With more than two decades on stage he has been able to combine different roots and facets of the contemporary music scale.
Alexi is intimately linked to the Plus 8, Clink Rec, H-prod and Truesoul labels and each one of his projects has been leaving foot prints on the minimal/techno scene. He performs constantly in clubs around the world and in prestigious events.
Born in Chile but raised in Sweden, Alexi, with fellow Swedes like Cari Lekebusch, Adam Beyer, Jesper Dahlback, Joel Mull and others, became part of some of the first wave of Swedish electronic music producers that made a name for themselves in the mid 90’s. Releasing on techno labels such as Missile, Primate, Hybrid, Svek and many more.
With a production and DJ style that sways neatly between house and techno, he consistently surprises with each release. Just listen to his “Would You?” track released on Magda, Troy Pierce and Marc Houle’s label ‘Items And Things’ of the M_nus family; or the acid house classic “Believe Me” that he co-produced with Jesper Dahlback for Steve Bugs ‘Poker Flat’ label; continue with his and Xpansul’s huge “Echolocation” track on Richie Hawtin’s ‘Plus 8’ label and you will get an idea of this mans eclecticism and creativity.
Now in 2011 Alexi Delano has no intentions of slowing down. He has a string of E.P’s and remixes lined up for the year, his new solo and co-productions will soon be at a store near you.
He‘s a man who seems to be made of music.

By leaving his mark on labels such as Drumcode, Harthouse, Sleaze, Weave and many others, he established himself firmly in the world of serious Techno which nods slyly to the dark side.
All of this well-deserved hype brought on remixes and collaborations with the most important world techno artists who, along with Sasha, lead the way in this scene.

Hailing from Buenos Aires, Sebastian Galante a.k.a. Seph is one of Argentina’s main electronic music artists. With nearly 10 years of activity in the techno scene, he has established himself as a multi-faceted artist, dividing his time between roles such as an energetic, prolific producer, heavily requested remixer, Aula Magna Records label manager, and a live act which has driven him to perform all across the globe. A sound experimentalist at heart, he devotes himself into expanding the sonic experience on the dance-floor and in the mind.
Having lived as a teenager in Norwich (England), and after studying piano and percussion for a decade since the age of 7, he was intensely influenced by the urban beats and electronic pop of the 80s and 90s. And as a result of discovering Kraftwerk, Bjork, Plastikman and Ricardo Villalobos, he quickly dove into sound synthesis and sampling, producing techno and electronica in his late high school years.
In 2004 he became an Electronic Arts student at the UNTREF university, and at age 19 Seph’s debut EP Goust was released on Igloo-rec, thrusting him to achieve popularity in the underground minimal techno scene. His collaborations with argentinian artists like Dilo, Pablo Denegri and Jorge Savoretti granted him a spot in what was the starting point of the new argentinian minimal techno movement. After early releases on labels like Telegraph, Stock5, Kalimari, Phonocult, 11AM and having tracks included in compilations mixed by DJs like Jeremy Caulfield and Ellen Allien, he made Dumb Unit Records his home-base, with releases such as his 2010 critically acclaimed debut album Alquimia, that finally defined his mysterious and IDM-driven techno.
During the last few years his music has been released on Harry Klein Records, City Fox, Items and Things and his main focus: his own label Aula Magna Records, created with Pablo Denegri, Mekas and Qik. Toomy Disco aka Marin Iliuta is by no means the fresh faced new comer he looks. After making his dj debut in 2007, he became a regular player in Buenos Aires club scene and slowly began to gain recognition between his colleagues and crowds. Despite still being relatively young, he has actually been toiling away, building up an enviable discography and laying down fierce DJ sets for a whole decade.
Right from the off he began making a big impact with early releases and has continued to quietly but competently build up momentum ever since. The upshot of this is that he is now at the point where he is a mainstay on the underground scene around South America, Europe and beyond.
The reason he has always stayed in favour is because the music he makes is of an effortlessly timeless nature. He doesn’t follow trends or tropes of the day, but rather he focusses on distilling the New York and Chicago An eclectic artist with many characteristics between House and Techno. In the constant search of his own sound. Sometimes they are deep, sometimes they are rough, sometimes they are more direct, but always are they characterful things that stand proud of the crowd.
With long time passion for house that dates back to the early years, Toomy Disco is first and foremost a DJ, taking his signature sound to world renowned clubs. Now settled in Buenos Aires, Argentina, a true hub for electronic music, with regular DJ appearances at the city’s infamous underground clubs.
As a DJ, Toomy Disco aims to mix the old with the new, is still a passionate vinyl hoarder and spends plenty of time digging deep for sounds and styles a mile away from the ordinary: if he didn’t, he wouldn’t be able to boast regular gigs with Matthew Dear, Dusty Kid, German Brigante, Dj W!ld, Todd Terje and many others big names. And in a couple of big festivals in Buenos Aires such as: PM Open Air Spring Festival at Mandarine Park with Betoko, Hector Couto, Cuartero and more, all of which find him weaving together tracks that make you want to dance as well as making you feel something deep down inside.
With a discography of over 50 signed tracks between 12’’ Vinyl and digital releases up to date in great labels like Under The Shade (UK), Pushing Trolleys (AU), A Friend In Need (GER), NANG (UK, )Kitsunè (FR), The House Of Disco (UK), JEUDI (GER) between others.
Violeta Torres aka Violett developed her musical taste from her cradle on. A soundtrack mixing Classic Music and Kraftwerk, also Jazz at her parent’s home founded her musical basis. At the age of 17 she discovered electronic music at the local underground scene of Buenos Aires which made her start buying & spinning the records herself, playing soon at some underground parties, clubs and outdoors events throughout the city, always maintaining a specific artistic conception of performance and music selection. 2005 she made her first steps as a producer, but quickly forcing up the pace she brought up a remarkable amount of renowned releases on different imprints such as Telegraph (France), Unfoundsound (Phili), Einmaleins (Germany), Lo Mid High (Dinamark) and contributed tracks to compilations from Harry Klein Networks, Lessizmore and Igloo Records, among others.
With her particular music style, mixing from Dub Techno to Deep and minimal House, she became one of the most renowned (female) DJs on the South American continent, also, she participated various times at the prestigious MUTEK festival in Argentina, and played from Brazil over Chile, Ecuador, Peru, El salvador, Panama, at almost all important venues of the continent.
After many tours in Europe, bringing her to Portugal, Spain, Italy, France, Holland, Belgium, Russia, Lithuania, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Austria, Switzerland and Germany it was just a question of time when Violett decided to focus on more projects to conquer the rest of the ears and hearts of the world.
One tends to wonder where a single person gathers all this energy from, but maybe it’s this mixture of records, clubs and dance floors around the world which inspired her to sit down in her studio and to focus on the last open discipline, the performance as a Live-Act. Under the influence of her curiosity she created a live session full of experiments. The sound of magnetic fields of the Northern Lights, overseas radio broadcasts and her own sound-creatures paired with deep beats and warm pads carries the audience off to a path where Deep and Techno go hand in hand.
This Live act, that she played at PUNTO & RAYA festival (International Abstract art) in Buenos Aires, and also at Centro cultural Recoleta. (Culture space).
By the years she started her own party called Classic Airlines in Buenos Aires, party that has 3 years today, and is still running with some clear vibe, and good intentions about bringing some fresh artists and sounds to the city.
Lately she also discover a new world with graphic design and different digital arts.
Violett also has a new collection of podcasts that she is doing to make people happy also during the week, called “Something For Your Week”, at the moment we have 6 parts, and people sent a really good feedback to her about this idea.
